The Vietnam film festival will be held from February 15 to 19 at the National Film Corporation Cinema Hall.
Jointly organized by the Vietnam Embassy in Colombo and the National Film Corporation, the festival will kick off with 'Don't Burn', a story about the diary of a Vietnamese lady doctor who died during its war with America. Her diary was saved from being burnt by a US soldier who was told about its contents by a Vietnamese translator.
Screening of the following five Vietnamese films - three on the war and two on love - will take place.
