Iranian Film Festival in Colombo till Tuesday

A Film Festival of Iran is being held in the Cinema Hall of the National Film Corporation. It will be held until the 28th of this month.
The festival was opened with the screening of the award winning Director Rafai’s film ‘STRANGERS’. Several high quality films including ‘Buttefly in The Wind’, ‘Child and Angel’ and ‘40 years old’ will be screened during this film festival.
The film festival has been jointly organized by the Cultural Division of Iranian Embassy and the National Film Cooperation. The Chairman of the Film Cooperation Mr. Ashoka Serasinghe, the Iranian Ambassador Mr. Nabi Mohommed Hassan Por and several others attended the opening ceremony of the film festival. (niz)
