Rajesh Khanna, the Superstar of Bollywood in the 1960s and 70s and the Hindi film industry's biggest heart-throb during that period, passed away yesterday after being ill. He was 69 in age.

Asoka Handagama’s latest movie “Ini Avan” which had its international premiere at the 13th Jeonju International Film Festival 2012, South Korea, has been picked for the ACID (Association du Cinéma Indépendant pour sa Diffusion) Cannes 2012 Program, which will take place during the International Film Festival in Cannes from 17 to 26 May.
