Full complement of students to Jaffna and Eastern Universities Plans are underway to admit the required number of students to Jaffna and Eastern Universities, Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Prof. Gamini Samaranayake said, adding that a total of 21,000 students will be enrolled in the universities this year to follow 80 courses of study, as opposed to 20,000 the previous year. |

Winning the toss, the home team took first lease of the pitch. They made a defendable total of 157 for 7 wickets thanks to a quick fire 42 runs by Kamal Hassan and a valuable contribution of 37 by Mohamed Mithun. Salam Rahaman also played well for his 20. |
