The Government plans to resettle over 80 percent of the displaced families in the North before the end of this year. A massive infrastructure development programme in the North will also be implemented in line with the resettlement programme, the Ministry of Nation Building disclosed.
The Government has already set up a presidential task force to provide facilities to nearly 200,000 civilians housed in welfare centers and relief villages. The Ministry of Nation Building and several other state institutions are partners in this process.
