Relaunch of Siddhalepa Ayurvedic Health Resort at Wadduwa was held under the patronage of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa at the resort yesterday(04).
Beautifully situated amidst tropical gardens along the scenic southern coastal belt in Wadduwa, Sri Lanka, it faces the sparkling blue waters of the Indian Ocean.
The Siddhalepa Ayurvedic Health Resort was inaugurated in 1999, The Resort comprising fifty (50) spacious chalets well appointed to luxury star class hotel standards has been refurbished at a cost of 150 million rupees fully equipped with modern facilities. The Chalets are so built around a Swimming Pool which is easily accessible from any point.
The Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort has its own manufacturing facility producing traditional ayurveda medicines according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and GMP International Standards. These preparations are exported to over 40 countries all over the world.
Minister of Minor Export Crop Promotion Reginald Cooray, Western Provincial Councillor Vikum Gunasekera, Siddahalepa company chairman Wictor Hettigoda and Managing Director Ashoka Hettigoda were present at this occasion.
