According to the Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayaka, most of the time these illegal constructions disturb the relief measures.

Minister speaking about the immediate actions to be taken to estimate the damaged properties said, “all the Small and Medium entrepreneurs will be given compensations for the damages.”

Although there is no any full value estimate about the property damages, government expects to have to spend a considerable amount of money for reconstructions.
