Every possible action will be taken by the relevant authorities to round up the traders selling essential commodities violating the gazette controlled prices.
This was emphasized by the Minster of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake recently in Elpitiya. He was joining an event to distribute the cement for the 56 law income families in the area.
According to the Minister, the Consumer Affairs Authority will conduct more and more raids to catch the traders continuously. The shortage of the officials will also be fulfilled immediately, he added.
