SLFP condemns the anti-national vicious political alliance

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party states that the Federation of University Teachers Association has become a pawn of the anti government and anti state conspirators.  The Association refrains from inspecting the Advanced Level answer scripts despite many appeals made to them..  The SLFP in a Press Release issued yesterday under the signature of the General Secretary of the Party Minister Maithripala Sirisena describes these acts as Anti State sabotage activities.  It says this Union is undermining the State examination process as well.

The Press Release states that it was the United National Party that prepared schemes to destroy the free education system of the country during the 87 to 90 horrendous periods by murdering the Professors and Lecturers of the Universities, students of Universities and schools, the youth of this country and even the elders.  It says that it is indeed amusing to find the University lecturers coming to a disgusting alliance with them, and by doing so they are supporting the vicious objectives of the imperialist global elements who are determined to destroy the political and economic stability in the country.

The message further states that it is sad to note that the Federation of University Teachers Association has become stooges of these vicious elements.  The release points out that the  dangerous conspiracy of subjugating Sri Lanka to the vicious foreign conspiracy forces should be defeated, and no one should be allowed to snatch the ideological heritage of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.

The Press Release points out that other than the Sri Lanka Freedom Party which is marching forward with the 7 giant forces of monks, indigenous physicians, teachers, farmers, workers, students and the war heroes, no other party or group has the capability or capacity to safeguard the free education system of this country.  It says that President Mahinda Rajapaksa is the only true guardian and the guide of the Sri Lankan people and the motherland, and the people of this country has not entrusted such a supreme responsibility to the anti national leaders who are slavishly serving the Imperialists by being in the opposition.  The Sri Lanka Freedom Party, under these circumstances appeal to the University Lecturers not to get misled by trade union actions aimed at destroying the education of the future generation who are to take over the future responsibility of the nation.
