The President on his arrival at the College was warmly welcomed by the students.

President Rajapaksa gave away awards to the students who had excelled in studies during the previous year. Also the teachers who had dedicated their time for the students by availing minimum number of leave were felicitated with the presentation of awards by the President.

The Principal of the College Prasanna Upashantha also presented a memento to the President for his honourable presence as the Chief Guest of the occasion.
