President Maithripala Sirisena today (July 28) declared open newly built Sri Sarwagna Dhathu Mandiraya (sacred relics shrine room), Golden Fence, Samadhi Buddha Statue, Museum and library at Sri Isipathanaramaya, Veyangoda.
The President also met Mahanayaka of Ramanna Chapter Most Ven. Napane Premasiri Thero and the Chief Incumbent of the Temple Ven. Henepola Dhammawansa Thero. He looked into the well-being of the Theros and received blessings.
The constructions have been done according to a concept of Ven. Henepola Dhammawansa Thero, at a cost of Rs. 6,000,000.00.
Maha Sangha and many devotees were present at this occasion.
