Sri Lanka Cricket announced that Kumar Sangakkara tendered his retirement from T20 International cricket.
Addressing a letter to the Chairman of Selectors, Kumar Sangakkara has stated that it is the right time to retire allowing SLC an opportunity to build a team for the next World Twenty20 and also to allow him to focus on Test and ODI cricket during the coming months.
