Special Train Service for Sri Pada Pilgrims

A special train service from Colombo Fort to Hatton has been commenced. This service will be operated on weekends and on Public Holidays.
The train service has been commenced for the convenience of the Sripada Pilgrims. It will be operated until the 6th of May.
The special train will leave Colombo Fort at 9.10 am to reach Hatton at 2.00 pm, and the return train will leave Hatton at 10 pm to reach Colombo Fort at 3.00 am the following day.
The fare is Rs. 140 per person.
Meanwhile, the SLTB will operate connecting bus services between Hatton and Nallathanniya for the convenience of the pilgrims using this special train service.(niz).
