Tamil Business Community condemn Geneva Conspiracy

The Tamil Business Community staged a protest demonstration yesterday to condemn the pro tiger terrorist conspiracies against Sri Lanka being staged in Geneva.

Several hundred members of the community went in a foot procession and handed over messages condemning the Geneva conspiracy to the Indian High Commission, the Embassy of the United States and the British High Commission in Sri Lanka.

They told the media that they condemn moves being made by the pro-tiger terrorist elements to implicate war crime charges against the President and the security forces personnel and said that it was due to the bold steps taken by the President to liberate this country from the terrorists, disregarding western moves to save the terrorists, that a peaceful atmosphere has been created in the island and they can engage in their business activities without fear and suspicion.
