Sri Lankan films at Geneva Sessions

A documentary film named ‘Sri Lanka, the Emerging Wonder- Conflict of Peace and Prosperity’ is to be screened at the UNHRC sessions in Geneva today. The film has been produced by the Sri Lankan government.
The film displays the developmental work being carried out in Northern Sri Lanka after the 30 year civil war, the rehabilitation of former LTTE cadres, resettlement of the internally displaced people, and the harmony existing between ethnic groups.
Further, another 2 videos named ‘Shadows of Terror: Response to Channel 4’ which substantiate the fact that what Channel 4 presented was false been produced by the Ministry of Defence are also to be screened today at the sessions.(niz)
