Provincial Sports Conference inaugurated

Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage inaugurated the second Provincial Sports Conference to identify and to train the rural sports personnel under the seven year development plan to uplift the standards of the sports in Southern Province at the Chief Minister's Office auditorium, in Galle this morning.
The Ministry expects to uplift the rural Sports, to identify the rural sports personnel to national standard, uplift the infrastructure facilities, to establish District Sports Committees, to introduce special sports programmes and Kreeda Shakthi programme under this plan.
Government Agents of Galle, Matara and Hambantota, Provincial Sports Directors, Provincial educational Sports Directors, Provincial and Sports Officials, trainers, youth service officials and district security officials are participating at this event.(niz).
