Sri Lanka Police offer Rs one million reward for information on museum theft

Sri Lanka Police have offered a cash reward of Rs one million for information on last month's theft at the National Museum.
Inspector General of Police, N.K. Ilangakoon has said that the cash reward will be paid to the informant while protecting the identities of those who provide the information.
Burglars had stolen invaluable goods from the Sri Lanka National Museum. It includes gold plated short swords, gold coins, silver coins, bejeweled gold ring , gem-encrusted walking stick, gold waist belt and a silver sword among others.
