Thunder showers expected today, too

Sri Lanka Met Department said that showers or thunder showers will develop over most parts of the island during this afternoon and night accompanied by fairly strong winds. Met Department requests the people to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning.

Met Department also forecasts occasional showers or thunder showers in the Eastern, South Eastern, Southern and South Western sea areas and showers at several sea areas around the island within the next 24 hours commencing 5.30 am today.
