The Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs said that another batch will be recruited for the Administrative, Grama Niladhari and Public Management Services shortly.
The Ministry said that accordingly 214 persons for the Administrative Service, and 3000 each for the Grama Niladhari and Public Management Services will be recruited.
The Secretary to the Ministry P.B Abeykoon said that applications for the administrative service vacancies have been gazetted, and the Grama Niladraries will be recruited through an open examination.
He said that applications for the Grama Niladhari posts will be accepted from next month and the qualification required is to have passed the GCE Advanced level examination. The gazette notification relating to this will be published next month.
Meanwhile the gazette relating to Management Services will be published on the 20th of this month. The Secretary also said that the existing vacancies will be filled within the course of this yesr. (niz)
