Thunder showers in most parts of the island today

Showers or thunder showers will develop over most parts of the island during the afternoon and nights, the Met department announced this morning.
It further said that an atmospheric disturbance associated with ITC Zones still affects the weather over the island.
In the meantime, according to met department, some showers can also be expected particularly in Northern, North Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and South Western coastal areas during morning hours
