Private Sector requested to declare May 07 a holiday

The Government has already declared Monday, May 7 a Public & Special Bank Holiday, in lieu of the Vesak holidays falling on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6.

Accordingly Labour and Labour Relations Minister Gamini Lokuge has made a request to all Corporations, Statutory Boards and Private Sector to declare Monday May 07 as a holiday.
