Divi Neguma Awareness Programme for Educational Sector

An awareness programme for Educational Sector officials on Divi Naguma programme was held at the Ministry of Economic Development on Thursday (03) under the patronage of Hon. Basil Rajapaksha, Minister of Economic Development.
The purpose of this discussion was to get the contribution of school children for Divi Naguma National Programme.
At this discussion Minister Basil Rajapaksa pointed out that if the Ministry of Education would start a programme to provide liquid fresh milk for school children, the Economic Development Ministry is ready to provide financial assistance for the programme. The Minister also emphasized on the importance of uplifting the liquid milk production in Sri Lanka.
Bandula Gunawardhana, Minister of Education, Senior Ministers A. H. M. Fauzie, Athauda Senevirathna, H.m.Gunasekera, Secretary to the Ministry of Education and officials from education sector participated at this discussion.
