Sri Lanka-Qatar Agreement for the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments’ signed

The ‘Agreement for the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments’ was signed between Sri Lanka and Qatar on Tuesday (22) during the official visit of President Mahinda Rajapaksa to the State of Qatar.
A. H. M. Fowzie, Senior Minister of Urban Affairs of Sri Lanka and Youssif Hussain Kamal, Minister of Finance, of Qatar signed the agreement.
Ambassador Jayantha Palipane, BOI Chairman Ferdinando, Additional Secretary I. Ansar and the Deputy Chief of the Mission, Mrs.Sithara Khan was present on the occasion.
