Matara HC impose death penalty on 3 persons

The Matara High Court imposed death penalty yesterday on 3 persons in connection with murdering a person by shooting on his head.
After a long trail the suspects have been found guilty. Accordingly, the Matara High Court Judge Sirira Rathnayaka delivered the sentence yesterday.
This murder has been carried out in front of the Devinuwara Bank of Ceylon Branch in 1999 and the reason for the shooting was a personnel feud between the suspects and the victim.
The 3 convicted persons were two brothers of the same family of the Devinuwara area and one of their relations.(niz
