New Facilities at Dehiwela Zoological Garden are opened to the public

Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development declared open  newly built animal nursery and veterinary laboratory at the Dehiwela Zoological Garden today (15).

In addition to renovated restaurant, internal road network and modern toilet complex was also opened to the public.

Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa has initiated many development projects to upgrade visitor facilities in the wild life parks, sanctuaries, botanical gardens and zoological gardens.

The Director of the Dehiwela Zoological Garden Bhashwara Senanka Gunarathne, Mount Lavinia Mayor Dhanasiri Amaratunga also participated at this occasion.
