Future minds 2012 , the National Educational and Career Gateway under the theme "No One Left Behind" will be held from June 22-24 at BMICH in Colombo, June 30 to July 01 at the Kandy City Centre and September 01 & 02 in Galle Municipal Council.
The opening ceremony of Future Minds 2012 will be held under the patronage of Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Secretary Ministry of Defence and Urban Development at the BMICH on June 22.
Future Minds 2012 is conducted by the Nalanda Junior Old Boys Association spearheaded by the Future Minds Secretariat.
Future minds facilitates communication among students, their parents and the ambitious younger generation, higher educational institutes, state and private educational service sectors in order to provide various avenues and opportunities to effectively plan their future.
The inauguration day of the exhibitions on June 22 at BMICH and June 30 at the Kandy City Centre is anmed the ‘School Day’, as school from various parts of the island will be sending their students for the exhibition. The ‘School Day’ will provide the opportunity for students to have exclusive access to resources made available at the exhibition. An essay and an oratory competition in both Sinhala and English medium will be conducted among school children and the winners will be awarded certificates, scholarships and valuable gifts.
Members of Parliament whom are Old Nalandians as well as many distinguished invitees representing sponsors, educational institutes, leading government and international schools are expected to participate at this event.
