Pro Food Pro Pack and Agbiz 2012 exhibition which concluded yesterday (08) attracted large crowds. at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Hall, in Colombo.
The wexhibition was declared opened by Senior Advisor to the President and Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa on Friday.
The exhibition, held for the 11th consecutive year has been renowned for its distinct and comprehensive range of products and services related to the food and packaging industry. The three days exhibition had around 300 stalls from a wide arena of categories related to the Food and Packaging industry.
Industry players such as hotel owners and supermarket chains were provided with the opportunity to witness low cost and efficient methods for the entire process enabling them to serve their customers cost effectively and with maximum profit margins.
Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, local and foreign investors, government officers and businessmen also participated in the exhibition.
