Vocational Technology University convocation today

The first convocation of the Vocational Technology University will be held at BMICH this evening under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
At this function 26 students who completed the graduate course and 338 students who have completed the diploma course will get their certificates.
The Vocational Technology University functioning under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Develops has made a huge revolution in the educational sector of the country by producing IT personnel required for the future development related activities of the country. It has helped to develop the skill of youth and to produce manpower required in the IT industry.
Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development Dallus Alahapperuma, Deputy Minister Duminda Dissanayake and senior officials of the Ministry will participate in the function. (niz)
