Pakistani Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka

At the invitation of Prof G. L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from 1-3 August 2012.
During the visit the two Ministers will hold bilateral discussions at the Ministry of External Affairs.
The Pakistani Minister will call on President Mahinda Rajapaksa and is scheduled to meet Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development. Foreign Minister Khar will deliver a lecture on "Pakistan - Sri Lanka Relationship: South Asia Context" at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute for International Relations and Strategic Studies on 2 August 2012.
