Arrangements ready for tomorrow's A/L exams

Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardhana said that all arrangements are ready for holding the GCE Advanced Level Examination starting from tomorrow. 277,671 candidates will sit for the exam this year at 2093 centers.

The minister said that arrangements have been made to hold the exam even in the provinces where elections will be held following  discussions held by the Commissioner of Examinations, the Secretary to the Ministry, the Commissioner of Elections and the Inspector General of Police. The Minister said that the police has the authority to apprehend whoever make interruptions to the examination. The examination will end on the 30th of this month.
