Electronic and Printed Media Editors meet the President

President Mahinda Rajapaksa met Heads of print and electronic media at the official residence of Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa yesterday

.The meeting was held for discuss about the 58th Commonwealth Parliamentary conference.The 58th Commonwealth Parliamentary conference will be held in Colombo from yesterday to the 15th of this month. More than 850 representatives from 54 countries will attend the event. The ceremony that marks the official inauguration of the conference will be held at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapakse on Tuesday.  The conference will take place at the BMICH in Colombo.

Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa, Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkody, Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva, Water Supply and Drainage Minister Dinesh Gunawardene, Youth Affairs and Skills Development minister Dullas Alahapperuma,Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga and Media and Information Ministry Secretary Dr. Charitha Herath were present.
