New York police has arrested two Sri Lankans for allegedly carrying hundreds of fraudulent ATM cards and over 55,000 U.S.Dollars in cash.
A police officer has noticed the two men in a bank lobby stuffing cash into backpacks and followed them to another lobby where they have repeated the process.
The persons arrested in this operation are Sivarubem Gnanapandithan, 28, and Ragavan Pathmasenan, 24, both Sri Lankan nationals living in Ontario, Canada. The New York Police has said that both of them were carrying 257 fraudulent ATM cards – mostly blank cards similar to hotel pass keys, and 55,689 U.S.Dolars in cash.(niz).
