Interruption to water supply

A 18-hour water cut will be imposed with effect from 9 am on Saturday (10) till 3 am on Sunday (11), in several areas in Colombo including Grandpass, Mahawatta, Thotalanga, Aluthmawatha, Kotahena, Mattakkuliya, Layards Broadway, Madampitiya and Modara due to maintenance work said the National Water Supply & Drainage Board.

There will also be an 12-hour interruption to  water supply on Saturday (10) from 8.00 pm to 8.00 am on Sunday (11), in part of the Panchikawatta Road, Sri Sumanatissa Mawatha to Elphinston Theatre junction upto Jethawana Road Junction, Sangaraja Mawatha and all sub roads, Maligawatta Road, Maligawatta Housing Complex, Akbar Lane, Old Moor Street, Mahavidyalaya Road and Oilman Street.  Also the other areas that will be affected are all sub roads of Colombo Galle Road from Glen Abor Place to Kollupitiya Junction, R.A. de Mel Mawatha from Bambalapitiya junction to Kollupitiya junction, South Asian Enrance premises of the Colombo Harbour.
