Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau said that 9,300 persons will be selected for Korean jobs through the Korean language examination held this month. It said that the results of the examinations would be released on October 28.
The bureau said that although it issued 50,636 admissions this year for the examination, only 44,214 sat for the examination. 21 persons who sat for the examination had been arrested for cheating and legal actions have been initiated against them for examination frauds.
Representatives from the Government of Korea observed the examination this year, following their dissatisfaction over the exam held last year, and the observers have expressed their fullest satisfaction on the conduct of this year’s examination. (niz)
