The Sri Lankan and Ugandan delegations headed by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and President Yoweri Museveni held bilateral talks Sunday (12) at the State House in the town of Entebbe, approximately 40 km south of the Ugandan capital, Kampala.

The low pressure condition that was evident close to the Bay of Bengal has developed into a cyclone. Names that have been proposed by the countries in the Asian regions are used when naming cyclonic situations that form in the Arabian Sea and in the Bay of Bengal. This time Sri Lanka was granted the opportunity to name this cyclone and it has been named Mahasen.

The Arabian Travel Mart 2013 (ATM 2013), the leading tourism promotional campaign in the Middle East, has become a major success for Sri Lanka Tourism Industry this year.
