Sri Lanka beats Slovakia in wheelchair tennis

Sri Lanka’s wheelchair tennis team beat Slovakia 3-0 yesterday, in the BNP Paribas sponsored World Team Cup 2012, now being held at the Olympic Park Tennis Centre in the Korean capital Seoul.
The Tournament which is considered as the Virtual International World Cup of Wheelchair Tennis is being held from May 21 to 27 on hard surface. Sri Lanka, playing in Men’s World Group-2, will meet Italy today in their 2nd tie.
Results of the matches played yesterday were:
Upali Rajakaruna beat David Chabrecek 6-3, 6-1
Dissanayake M. Gamini beat Tomas Masaryk 6-1, 6-2
Dissanayake M. Gamini & Upali Rajakaruna beat David Chabrecek & Tomas Masaryk 6-3, 6-0 in the doubles.(niz)
