Sri Lankan won the Test Series against Pakistan despite the 3rd test yesterday ended in a draw at the Palekelle International Cricket Stadium. This is the first test series won by Sri Lanka after three years.
Set a victory of 270 to win in 71 overs, when the game was called off with nine overs remaining and no decision in sight, Sri Lanka were 195 for 4 at end with Kumar Sangakkara not out 74 with 11 fours and Angelo Mathews on one. Man of the match was Asad Shafiq while Kumar Sangakkara was the man of the series. (Niz+)
