Kasun Maduranga of PSD elected as BAC Accredited Umpire

On having passed the writing & practical tests for promotion of National Level Umpires to International Level Umpires, Kasun Maduranga Sub – Inspector of the PSD has been elected as a BAC Accredited Umpire by the Badminton Asia Confederation.
He was able to achieve this position due to his performance exhibited when he represented Sri Lanka at the Badminton Asia Youth Championship 2012 Tournament held in Donguan, China in October 2012.
Kasun Maduranga, a Pupil in the Ambalangoda Kularathna Vidyalaya took to Badminton at the school and now he serves as the Vice President of the Southern Province Badminton Association.
Kasun Maduranga functions as a Sub – Inspector in the President's Security Division too.
