The “Colombo 75 Medics” Association officially donated six Intensive Care Unit (ICU) monitors worth Rs. 1.7 million to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media yesterday (24).
The association, comprising doctors from the 1975 batch of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, has carried out a number of public welfare initiatives over the years. Its continued contribution to social welfare and healthcare services was highly appreciated at the occasion.
Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, Specialist Dr. Anil Jasinghe, President of the “Colombo 75 Medics” Association, Professor Harendra de Silva, Treasurer Pushpakanti Kumarage, and association member Dr. Rani Fernando, former Director of the Castle Street Hospital for Women, were among those present at the event.
