The Vice President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from April 19 to 20, 2026.
During the visit, he is expected to hold bilateral discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, as part of ongoing high-level diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening the longstanding ties between the two countries.
In addition to official talks, the Indian Vice President will also participate in several engagements with political representatives and community leaders.
Several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are also expected to be exchanged during the visit, focusing on enhancing cooperation in key areas, including development projects and rehabilitation efforts related to Cyclone Ditwah, with support from the Government of India.
Vice President Radhakrishnan will be accompanied by a high-level delegation from the Government of India.
