The Department for Registration of Persons has announced that all public services, including the one-day service, will not be operational on Friday, April 17, 2026, at its head office and all regional offices due to an unexpected system failure.
The department stated that restoration work is currently underway to fix the computer system breakdown.
The Department for Registration of Persons also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the public and other institutions.
