The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that water supply to several areas will be suspended until 8.00 a.m. tomorrow due to an emergency breakdown in a main water transmission pipeline near the Kadawatha section of the Central Expressway.
According to the NWSDB, the interruption will affect areas under the Mahar Pradeshiya Sabha and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha administrative divisions.
The Board stated that arrangements have been made to distribute water through bowser services to minimize inconvenience to residents.
