A few showers may occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North Western provinces, as well as in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.
Mainly dry weather is expected to prevail over the rest of the island.
Meanwhile, fairly strong winds of around 40–50 km/h may occur at times in the Northern, North Central and North Western provinces, and in the Matale, Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
