Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria was established with the patronage of world leaders with the view of controlling the above 03 deceases.

The fund grants financial assistance to countries that the decease has prevailed. Since 2012 no Malaria deceased patients were reported in Sri Lanka and the country will gain the honour of being declared by the World Health Organization as the first tropical country that have eradicated Malaria.
