Korean Ambassador calls on Media Minister ^Featured

Chang Won-Sam, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka paid a farewell call on Minister of Parliament Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilaka, at the Ministry yesterday.

The Ambassador extended an invitation to the Media Minister Gayantha Karunathilake to be the Chief Guest at the Korean Film Festival scheduled to be held at the National Film Corporation from December 04 - 07

During the discussion the Ambassador appraised the Media Minister about various ongoing media projects carried out with development assistance of Korea.

Minister Karunathilake also expressed gratitude to the Korean Government for its development assistance in key areas like human resources development especially in media and vocational training projects in Sri Lanka.
