The assurance was given by the Minister when he visited Pandith Amaradeva to wish him on his 88th birthday.
Minister Gayantha Karunathilake while initiating preliminary work on the Music ashram called on Pandith Amaradeva yesterday (16) to make further discussions on the matter.
Pandith Amaradeva expressed his deep appreciation to the Minister when the Minister said that action is being taken to find a suitable plot of land for the purpose.
Present on the occasion were Deputy Minister Karu Paranavithana, Secretary Vajira Narampanawa, SLRC Chairman Ravi Jayawardene and DG Sunil Shantha.
