    Holiday Bungalows Dedicated for injured Naval Personnel declared open

    Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne recently opened two Holiday Bungalows in Diyathalawa dedicated for naval personnel, who were wounded in action during the past.



    These holiday bungalows, which were constructed following the directions given by the President Sri Lanka Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Yamuna Wijegunaratne are the only such dedicated facilities available in the Navy for officers and sailors.



    SLN Seva Vanitha Unit had generated over Rs. 21 million for the construction of these two bungalows. The holiday bungalows comprise of two separate units which can be used by officers and sailors.



    The Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe, The Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jayantha De Silva, spouses of senior naval officers, members of the SLN Seva Vanitha Unit were also present.
