    Fisheries community housing problem to be solved

    The government was able to find a solution to the housing problem of the fisheries community with funding from Korea said State Minister for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Dilip Vedarachchi.
    He made these comments when he visited the construction site of the Ambalanthota, Bataatha fisheries village.
    He said the village will consist of 100 houses but in the first stage 25 houses will be built and  financial assistance for the project is from the National Cooperative Movement of Korea. The village will consist of a children’s park and a technical college for the fisheries sector.
