The flyover which is being constructed close to the Ganemulla Railway station is 504 meters long and includes a 300 meter access road. The cost of the two lane flyover is Rs 1,768.21 million.

As Ganemulla is situated amidst many towns in the Gampaha District, lots of vehicles travel through Ganemulla which causes traffic congestion and this is increased due to the railway station as well. Therefore, as a solution to all these problems construction of the flyover was started on 19th April 2015.
