Cloudy conditions are expected to continue further and fairly strong winds can be expected over the island and surrounding sea areas during the next few days.

Showers or thundershowers at times are expected in the Northern and North-central provinces and in the Trincomalee and Batticaloa districts and, fairly heavy falls (about 75-100 mm) can be expected at some places.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
